The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be closing Route 113 (Main Street) to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between Sniffens Lane and Dorne Drive beginning on or about November 5, 2014.  Bus and Van stops will remain as assigned, however, there may be a delay in pickup and/or drop off times from November 5th until the end of the school yearPlease click here to see list of buses and vans that may be affected.  Thank you

Communications Sub-Committee

 The duties of the Communications & Public Relations Committee are as follows:

  •  Maintain district wide guidelines/procedures for communications programs and provide hands-on manual to each individual school.

  • Maintain a webpage for this committee.

  • Increase the involvement of the public in the public schools.

  • Increase the involvement of the business community in the public schools.

  • Communicate to the public any positive or negative issues facing the school system.

  • Portray to the public what the roles of the Board of Education and the Administration are in the public school system.

  • Maintain relationships with local media.

The Committee meets every other month.
