Robert Chaloux
Mr. Robert Chaloux
Board Member (2011-2015)
Elected to the Board of Education on November 8, 2011. Bob is a GE retiree with thirty seven years of experience in Finance, Risk Management and Compliance, as well as previous co-owner of Briarfield Day School for fourteen years. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Since retirement, he was an active member and served as Chairman on Stratford's Ethic Commission for five years, and served for two years on the Mayor's Operational Review Task Force. Bob is currently active on the BEST Committee (Business Education Support Team), and on the Board of Directors (serving as Treasurer) of Family Services Woodfield, Inc. (FSW) in Bridgeport, CT.
Mr. Chaloux has been a Stratford resident for forty years, and is married to Eleanore Chaloux. They have five children and eleven grandchildren.
As a new Board member, Mr. Chaloux hopes to instill a business approach towards cost efficiencies that will complement, as well as ensure, that all of Stratford's students achieve the 21st Century skills needed to succeed in whatever endeavor they choose to follow.
