Ms. Janice Daponte

(Board Member 2009 - 2013)

Ms. Daponte was elected to the Stratford Board of Education in November 2009.  Ms. Daponte is the mother of seven children, all of whom graduated from Stratford's education system, therefore the foundation of Ms. Daponte's support for the Stratford Public School system. 

Ms. Daponte is a Registered Nurse.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Bridgeport, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University.   Ms. Daponte has worked extensively in the Bridgeport/Stratford area and has great knowledge regarding the needs of the community, and she continues to work tirelessly towards addressing those needs.
