What Your Child Learns: A Parent's Curriculum Guide is your road map to the sometimes complicated world of educational programs. Its focus is on kindergarten through sixth grade.

It is our sincere hope that you will sit down with this book often and read and think about its statements, indicators, standards, and content. As you think about what and how your child is learning, we ask that you also consider how you can incorporate the many suggestions for parents to enhance your child's education. Most of all, please maintain contact with your child's teachers and school staff. Nothing is more important in your child's education than a strong partnership between you and those responsible for his/her educational growth.
