Franklin students go to UCONN Invention Convention

Congratulations to the following 4th,5th,and 6th grade students who represented Franklin School at the Connecticut Invention Convention on May 4th at UConn! Two of them were then awarded Recognized Inventor trophies: Evan Vazquez (5th grade) and Symone Good (6th grade)! Symone was also invited to attend the National Invention Convention to be held in Deerborn, Michigan at the Henry Ford Museum. We are so proud of all their innovative thinking! Franklin 6th Graders get published

All sixth grade students wrote, and illustrated their own fantasy stories. The stories were all published into their own books.
5 Franklin Students win the EE Smarts Contest

Congratulations to the 5 Franklin Falcons who were awarded for their eeSmarts essay or poster about how to be energy efficient sponsored by Eversource and United Illuminating. Franklin School had the largest group of recognized students at the ceremony! Thank you to the teachers and parents who made this possible and supporting the program!


Franklin Students Are Inventors!

Franklin 6th Graders are officially published authors!

Emily Canizalez, David Garcia, Hannah Wishart, Melanie Fajardo, Summer Williams, and Symone Good (Aniyah Roman not pictured) all were had their stories published in a book called, "Spooky Sagas" by winning a writing contest.

Franklin Parent Helps out!

We have the most amazing parent community here at Franklin. Here we have a father grabbing his snowblower and shovel and cleaning out a path for our students! We are so thankful for a community of parents that are always willing to lend a hand!

Franklin hosts the Sodexo Fine Dining Program

Sodexo hosted a fine dining and food etiquette program. The students learned proper table manners, how to set a table and enjoyed a delicious gourmet meal.Click for pictures!
