Parent Leadership Training Program

Parents SEE Stratford Cohort #8 graduated 15 parents on May 26. Congratulations to those parents!
If you are interested in participating in Parents SEE 2022, Cohort #9, please contact Sara North, 203-381-6992.

Parents SEE (Parents Supporting Excellence in Education) is a 13 session parent leadership training program offered FREE to parents, foster parents and grandparents of children pre-kindergarten through grade six in the Stratford Public School system.

Ensuring quality, collaboration, and equity in education requires involvement from multiple constituencies. Most efforts are focused on students, teachers, and administrators, but it’s critical that involvement from another group of important stakeholders – parents – not be overlooked or minimized.

The program was created by the Connecticut Center for School Change, a nonprofit education advocacy group and is sponsored by Stratford School Readiness and Child Care Advisory Council, in cooperation with the Stratford Public Schools.
