Parent Leadership Training Program
Parents SEE is back in Stratford for the 8th year!
The program, like everything else in life, will look a little different this year as it will be entirely virtual, but it will still be the same effective leadership training program that it has been for the past 7 years.
The 2021 Parents SEE Program is currently underway therefore we are no longer accepting applications.
Questions or to be put on the waiting list for 2022, contact Sara North, 203-381-6992.
Parents SEE (Parents Supporting Excellence in Education) is a 13 session parent leadership training program offered FREE to parents, foster parents and grandparents of children pre-kindergarten through grade six in the Stratford Public School system.
Ensuring quality, collaboration, and equity in education requires involvement from multiple constituencies. Most efforts are focused on students, teachers, and administrators, but it’s critical that involvement from another group of important stakeholders – parents – not be overlooked or minimized.
The program was created by the Connecticut Center for School Change, a nonprofit education advocacy group and is sponsored by Stratford School Readiness and Child Care Advisory Council, in cooperation with the Stratford Public Schools.
