Good evening Franklin families,
In November, the fifth grade classes went to Clover Field as a part of the Audubon's "From the Ground to the Sound" Marine Clean Up. On this field trip, students collected and then sorted the different debris that was found. Based on their findings at the park, the two classes had to come up with an action item to help keep debris out of our community. The fifth grade classes decided to get a reusable bag and a magnet for every student in our school.
This morning, students went into classrooms to present a slideshow and hand out their action items to students.
