Jessica Teague (Veteran ELA Teacher) and Elizabeth Bourjaili (Humanities Department Chair) inducted students into Stratford High's first National English Honor Society. We congratulated these students for their achievements in leadership, community service, scholarship, character, and enthusiasm for English literature and language. Students Casey Carretta, Madelyn Randolph, and Chelsea Williams initiated interest in bringing a Chapter to SHS, and they will serve as founding officers for the 2023-2024 school year, their leadership instrumental to this organization. 38 students were inducted, grades 10 through 12, and student-created chapter names were submitted for selection from inductees. We are excited to announce the title as the "Dead Poets Society Chapter" of SHS.
