Dear Franklin Families, K-2 students will be making a craft next month that requires empty paper towel rolls. If you could please send in your family's empty paper towel rolls for the next few weeks, we would appreciate it!

On November 15th, our Franklin Family will honor our Veterans with a special assembly. Several veterans already confirmed their presence and our brilliant Falcons are excited to demonstrate their love and appreciation for their service. It would be very special if all of our students wore red, white and blue for our assembly . This year , our donation will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) for Honor Their Courage, an inspiring initiative. WWP, a nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to honoring and empowering wounded warriors since 2003. Through their transformative programs, they have improved the lives of veterans and their families. Good afternoon Franklin Parents! Cookie dough orders are in and have been delivered to your falcons' classrooms! If your order included 5 or more tubs, please arrange to pickup your falcon from school tomorrow in order to help carry them. If you are scheduled for a teacher conference this afternoon, please grab from the teacher today. We still have an unclaimed order of 10 tubs without a falcon or teacher name. TGIF Franklin Families- Thank you, ALL for your participation and making our Cookie Dough Fundraiser the most successful one yet! The entire proceeds are going straight to our falcons towards field trip costs and SOAR awards. We are looking for the family who placed a very large order for 10 tubs, but forgot to include the Falcon's and Teacher's name on the order form. No School - Election Day - Teacher Professional Learning All day

Dear Franklin Families, On Thursday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 14th we will dismiss our students early to meet with our families for our Parent Teacher conferences. Each classroom teacher will communicate with individual families to schedule a meeting time for one of the days. Dear Families, My name is Marissa Terifay and I'm the Reading Specialist for the K-2 students here at Franklin. We are always looking for ways to encourage family involvement with literacy at home to support what we are doing in school. While we know you understand the importance of reading with your child, we also know that external factors can impact your time. Our new series, "Franklin Parents as Partners", is going to feature Franklin parents who explain how they make it work at home. Kindergarten Farm Trip

Good morning Franklin Families, If you are interested in signing up to decorate a trunk at our Trunk-or-Treat this Friday, please do so by tomorrow. We currently only have 8 volunteers participating.
