NOTICE OF THE TITLE IX COORDINATOR

Eli Whitney Elementary School's Title IX Coordinator is Jessica Morelli, Whitney's social worker. Any individual may make a report of sex discrimination and/or sexual harassment directly to the Title IX Coordinator using any one, or multiple, of the following points of contact:

The Title IX Coordinator manages Whitney's compliance with Title IX, Title VII and Connecticut law with respect to sexual harassment and/or sex discrimination, and is an available resource to anyone seeking information or wishing to file a formal complaint. When a student feels that such person has been subjected to discrimination on the basis of sex in any District program or activity, including without limitation to being subjected to sexual harassment, such person may contact the Title IX Coordinator or utilize the Title IX, Title VII and Connecticut law grievance systems set forth herein to bring concerns forward for the purpose of obtaining a prompt and equitable resolution.
