Our staff recently engaged in powerful professional learning with nationally recognized educator and author, Brian Mendler, reinforcing our commitment to being lifelong learners. Together, we reflected on the critical role relationships play in student engagement and motivation. One quote that deeply resonated with us was, “The only thing that matters is knowing what motivates you (students). If I don’t know you, how do I know what motivates you? That’s why relationships matter.” From teachers to support staff, our team embraced this work with intention, strengthening connections, elevating student voice, and ensuring every child feels known, valued, and inspired to learn.
