We will be having a Talent Show as part of Literacy Night activities! If you have a song to sing, instrument to play or dance to dance, please see Mrs. Dennis to sign up and participate. All music must be school appropriate and approved before June 6th. We hope you all sign up and show your talent at the Literacy Night on Thursday, June 9th from 5-8 pm!

Today was our Chalk Walk where students were able to work collaboratively to solve math problems throughout the school. Students had a blast! Shoutout to our math team for organizing!

Spring Concert is On! After carefully reviewing the weather maps, we have decided that our outdoor Spring Band, Orchestra, and Chorus Concert WILL proceed as scheduled tonight at 6:00 PM. Performers should arrive between 5:30 PM - 5:45 PM. Families are asked to bring their lawn chairs.

Chapel was lucky enough to have a visit from K9 Hex and Officer Diaz. Thank you to both for taking the time to visit us!

Our 6th graders took some time to write inspirational messages to encourage our Cheetahs to do their best!

Spring Concert Update: We wish to confirm for our families that we are aware of, and are tracking, the weather predicted for this Thursday, May 19. At this time, our plan is to hold our outdoor Spring Band, Orchestra, & Chorus concert as scheduled on May 19 at 6:00 PM. We will be re-evaluating the situation and will send out another notice by the end of the school day on Thursday. If it does become necessary to postpone the concert, we already have May 23 reserved as our rain date.

Chapel's Big Read is upon us! Each day we will share a clue as to what the book will be. Today's clue...a character in the book believes that you should not judge the worth of someone or something by their size. What do you think it could be?

Join Stratford police at this free event, no cost to the community. We will provide all children involved with a fishing pole, hooks, and bait.

In honor of our Character Day Parade, the entire school community participated in Drop Everything and Read (DEAR). It was great to see everyone so invested in their books.

Character Dress Up and Parade - Our Character Dress Up and Parade was a hit! It was so great to see so many students and adults dress up as their favorite characters.

The Battle of the Books has ended and we have our winner! I Want My Hat Back is the 2022 Book of the Year!
