This Week At Lordship School: We held a lockdown drill in which students and staff responded quickly and with an emphasis on safety. When we practice these drills, many “what if” questions come up - What if I am in the bathroom? What if someone in my class is loud? We work through these questions in classrooms as they arise, and I encourage you to unpack them further with your children at home to build their awareness and confidence. The HILL for Literacy came for their second coaching visit of the year. The focus was working on building vocabulary routines and activating background knowledge - Our coach was pleased and our staff and students continue to benefit from this direct coaching model. -Every bus student has received a bus tag. This needs to be shown to the driver prior to boarding. This is to prevent students from boarding the wrong bus.
