1st Graders Celebrating Thanksgiving: We spent the past few days learning about Thanksgiving: the Pilgrims and Native Americans, the first Thanksgiving, and the difference between needs and wants. We read Balloons Over Broadway to learn how the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade began, held our own classroom parade through the school, and finished with a Charlie Brown–style Thanksgiving feast. | 2nd Grade Cranberry Tasting: Cranberry tasting! This Week At Lordship School: Short week! Classrooms practiced gratitude and enjoyed Thanksgiving themed activities. We hope you had a restful and relaxing Thanksgiving and enjoyed the time with your families and friends. As you know, December is a month packed with activities, fun and anticipation. We will aim to keep routines gentle, model calm patience, and choose kindness in every interaction so children feel safe, seen, and ready to learn throughout December. |
