K Field Trip:

The kindergarten class took a joyful field trip to explore marine life, especially turtles. The children were well behaved and excitedly observed shells, sketched turtles, and asked curious questions!

This Week At Lordship School:

We are working on rebuilding our Core Values as a school community. Based on our school-wide survey results, students and staff have identified the most important attributes for us all to strive for at Lordship School:

                  Kindness       Safety       Respect       Responsibility       Hard Work

These attributes have been focus points during our morning announcements and in classroom meetings, as we have explained and modeled what these attributes look like in the classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, cafeteria, on the playground, and on the bus. We will continue explicitly teaching these skills throughout the month of December, culminating with a January reveal of an updated Lordship Promise and a weekly recognition for classrooms who work together to exemplify these attributes throughout Lordship School.

Upcoming Dates:

-Please stress the importance of safe behavior on the bus. Remaining seated, talking at an appropriate volume, and keeping hands to oneself.

-Please remind your students that their hoods should come down upon entering the school building.Hoods, hats, and ski masks are not permitted.

-We have a uniform policy at Lordship School. Students should be in uniform.

-No nut products are allowed at school per district policy!
