How We Help

Counselors as Helpers

Responsive services are reactions to immediate needs and/or concerns of individual students. Issues may include academics problems, personal crisis, social relationships, safety, and career information. School counselors respond or react to each situation on an individual basis, using intervention techniques that are appropriate and helpful in meeting the needs of the student. In addition, school counselors continually respond to the request of staff members, parents, guardians, and the students who seek specific information.
