Good morning Falcons, Today is the championship game for our girls' basketball team! The game is at Hillcrest Middle School in Trumbull with a start time of 4:30 pm. If you cannot attend the game, Hillcrest has a radio and possibly video broadcast of the game for fans to watch games online. Check it out and cheer on our girls! Hillcrest will be streaming the girls' championship basketball game live on the Trumbull Eagle Network (radio) and possibly a live stream on Trumbull Community Television's YouTube page. The streams are 100% free, no passwords are needed, and Flood students & families are invited to listen/watch. Below are the links. Back by popular demand! We will be reinstating the use of lockers here at Flood Middle School. Although our current students have not used lockers regularly, these are the expectations we had in place prior to pandemic restrictions. Students are welcome to use a binder with a handle on it to carry notebooks, folders, their Chromebook etc. pictured below. Everyone practiced using their lockers yesterday during Period 8, they were very excited and were helping each other along the way! Below is the timeline for complete use of lockers: Thurs. Apr. 6- During Period 8, locker assignments will be redistributed and students will have time to practice using their combinations to open their lockers Week of Apr. 17-21- Practice week, students begin the use of lockers throughout the day Mon. Apr. 24- Schoolwide use of lockers begins. Students will be able to access their lockers prior to homeroom, mid day and at dismissal. Beginning Mon., April 24, 2023, all students will be expected to use lockers for the following items (but not limited to): cellphones, air pods/earbuds/headphones/etc., all electronic devices, food, perfumes/colognes, backpacks/bookbags, hip packs, coats and hats. Again the expectation is that these items are in lockers and consequences will be in place if the expectations are not met.

Congratulations to the Flood Dance Team for first place in the dance competition last weekend. We are proud of your incredible skills and positive representation of Flood Middle School. Congrats to coach Halper and the entire team!

Good luck to our Flood Dance team, Led by coach Liza Halper. They will be attending a middle school competition this weekend, hopefully bringing back another 1st prize! It is local if you want to attend to support. They will compete at Fairfield Warde HS, and their time slot is 11:55 am. $10 spectator fee, and kids under 5 are free.
