The STRIVE program is a comprehensive community-based transition program that provides services to Stratford’s young adults with exceptionalities, who have completed their academic requirements. Eligible students will participate in a twenty hour per week program which includes: on site activities, on-the-job training, prevocational skills assessment and career experiences. The primary goal of the STRIVE transition program is to build capacity and transition Stratford’s young adults into all aspects of the community. This includes further developing life skills competencies; increasing workplace skills, and nurturing intergenerational activities and relationships. Additionally, we aim to assist young adults and their family through the Entitlement to Eligibility process.
