For the safety of the students in Stratford, all volunteers and chaperones working directly with children and not under the supervision of a staff member of the Stratford Board of Education will be required to complete a volunteer application and background check.  The online application and background check are provided by Raptor Technologies.

Tips for completing your application:

  • Use your full legal name as it appears on your driver's license or identification card.  You will need to scan this identification when you enter the schools.

  • Select all volunteer activities and locations for which you need approval.

  • Applications and background checks are good for a period of three (3) years.

  • All information collected will remain confidential and will not be shared outside of the volunteer program.

  • Once the application is approved, you will be sent an email confirmation.  Only after you receive this confirmation will you be allowed to volunteer.
