For the safety of the students in Stratford, all volunteers and chaperones working directly with children and not under the supervision of a staff member of the Stratford Board of Education will be required to complete a volunteer application and background check. The online application and background check are provided by Raptor Technologies.

Tips for completing your application:
Use your full legal name as it appears on your driver's license or identification card. You will need to scan this identification when you enter the schools.
Select all volunteer activities and locations for which you need approval.
Applications and background checks are good for a period of three (3) years.
All information collected will remain confidential and will not be shared outside of the volunteer program.
Once the application is approved, you will be sent an email confirmation. Only after you receive this confirmation will you be allowed to volunteer.
