Cohort Twelve Graduation

I wanted to share the wonderful news that tonight we celebrated the graduation of our 12th—and in my eyes, best—Parents SEE cohort! (I may be a bit biased since this was the first group I’ve supported directly!)

This group of parents and caregivers truly embodied the spirit of the program. They engaged wholeheartedly in every session, asked meaningful questions, and reflected deeply on how they can be catalysts for positive change in both their schools and the broader Stratford community.

They are very appreciative of your support of this program and for taking the time to connect with the participants during their journey. Your presence and encouragement meant a lot to them—and us.

A special shoutout goes to Andrea, who hit the ground running with recruitment and ongoing support. Her dedication helped shape a cohort full of promise, perspective, and purpose. These individuals are not only inspired to lead change but also ready to add lasting value to our district and beyond.

Below is a brief excerpt from the speech I shared with the graduates tonight:

*“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your time, your commitment, and the powerful voices you brought to this year’s Parent SEE workshop series.

Our goal was to create a space where parents and caregivers could come together to learn, reflect, and collaborate on ways to positively impact our schools and communities. By choosing to participate, you demonstrated a meaningful investment—not just in your own child’s success, but in the success of every student across Stratford.”*

The energy and momentum created by this group is inspiring, and I’m excited about what lies ahead. Thank you again for your continued support of the programs we offer to our community!
