Stratford High School art teachers— Cynthia Phelan, Marie Monks, Sarah Voccola, and Michelle Genuario—recently visited the Board of Education to showcase exceptional student artwork. Photography students from Stratford High School presented a series of formal and candid self-portraits inspired by the vibrant work of renowned textile artist Bisa Butler.
Through this project, students explored the fundamentals of photographic composition, mastered lighting techniques, and honed their skills in digital editing using Adobe Photoshop. The collection of creative and thought-provoking images is now proudly on display at the Board of Education, celebrating the talent and dedication of these young artists
