Bunnell High School proudly completed their NEASC Decennial Accreditation, which highlighted several key strengths, including the development of a systematic curriculum review process and the continued enhancement of instructional practices that support differentiation, student agency, and meaningful learning experiences. The visiting team also recognized strong opportunities for students to apply learning in authentic, real-world contexts particularly through its CTE programs.
In addition, the committee noted the school's commitment to providing students with multiple opportunities to demonstrate learning, receive and apply feedback, and grow through reflection. Strengths also included the purposeful integration of technology, a clear and shared vision of learning through the Portrait of a Graduate, and a structured data-driven Multi-Tiered System of Supports.
The report further emphasized the strong partnership between district leadership and the school, ongoing attention to facility improvement, and a vibrant school culture that fosters pride across academics and athletics.
