Stratford High School hosted a successful Career Readiness and Community Connection Event
The event was held at The Birdseye Complex and was an impactful family engagement event. The evening began with a brief presentation that provided students and families with valuable guidance on building strong resumes and understanding important interview dos and don'ts for jobs, internships, and future opportunities.
Following the presentation, participants had the opportunity to apply what they learned through hands-on-activities, including resume-building support with staff members and a mock interview experience. These interactive sessions offered personalized feedback and practical experience helping both students and family members feel more confident and prepared for real-world opportunities.
The event was a meaningful part of ATP's new outreach initiative aimed at increasing family engagement and creating stronger connections between home and school. The positive collaboration among students, families, Stratford High School staff and Baldwin Center volunteers made the evening a tremendous success and reinforced the shared commitment to building community and supporting student growth.
