Administrator's Message: Welcome to the ALPHA Program website. As you explore this site, we hope to provide you with a better understanding of the learning opportunities offered in the Alternative High School Program. While ALPHA is an alternative to the traditional high school experience, students attending ALPHA must meet the same graduation requirements as all the students in the Stratford School System. The staff members of the ALPHA Program are a dedicated group of individuals who have requested an opportunity to work with a student population that has elected to attend our program.

ALPHA Mission Statement: The Stratford Public School System recognizes that all students have the innate capability to learn. The ALPHA program provides students with the opportunity to foster their innate capabilities and experience their successes in a smaller educational environment with a truly dedicated staff. Our mission at ALPHA is to present the opportunity and support so all students, in partnership with families and community, will acquire life-long learning skills. The skills learned (academic and social) are necessary in becoming responsible, contributing citizens in a diverse and ever-changing global society.
