Driver's Ed - Please Read Carefully Before Registering: This is a comprehensive course in driver education held online. The course consists of thirty hours of interactive classroom experience (through Zoom), of which eight hours are devoted to the mandatory Save Driving Practice, which covers the drug and alcohol awareness component. All applicants must be high school students. Stratford residents receive priority with their applications. Students must be sixteen years of age by the first session. (NO EXEMPTIONS). They must attend fifteen two-hour online sessions. A parent/guardian will be required by State Law to attend one two-hour session along with their child. Attendance is extremely STRICT, and Students are only allowed to miss ONE class. If more are missed, they will NOT receive their certificate of completion. Kindergarten Registration for September 2025 will begin the month of February. If you have a child who will turn five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2025, you will be able to access the registration process starting Friday, February 21st.
Please visit the website at www.stratfordk12.org and click on Registration. Then, on Student Registration K-12.. There, you will be able to complete the registration process online.

Stratford Health Department Presents Preschool Flu Clinics located in the Birdseye Municipal Complex on Thursday, 12/12/24, from 3-5 PM; Monday, 12/30/24, from 3-5 PM; Thursday, 1/2/25 from 9 AM - 3 PM. Did you know the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health requires that all preschool (PK3 and PK4) children receive an influenza immunization (flu shot) to attend preschool? This means your child cannot return to school on 1/2/2025 until they have received their flu shot. Attention Stratford High Senior Parents, The deadline to have a senior portrait taken at Robert Taylor Studio is November 10th. The date to choose a senior portrait to be featured in the yearbook or have a retake is November 30th. - Any students not photographed by November 10th will not be featured in the 2024-2025 SHS Yearbook, nor will they be featured in the town-wide banner project in June. - If a portrait is not chosen by November 30th, the studio will choose a photo by default.
