Bunnell High School's guidance/career center is equipped with the latest version of Choices Career Development Software. The Choices program engages students in an interactive process that builds self-knowledge, encourages students to explore occupations, careers, and post-secondary options. The Interest Inventory is offered to all ninth grade students in preparation for a job shadow visit in grade 10.
Using the information collected from the interest inventory, students identify their career preferences and are matched with local businesses that agree to host the student for the day. The early formation of career plans can motivate students to continue in school and gain the education necessary to achieve their goals.
