New Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Fallon Daniels joined the Stratford Public Schools in September of 2022 as the Director of School Leadership and Accountability. She worked as a key member of the Superintendent’s cabinet and with instructional leaders to guide school improvement planning, accountability outcomes aligned to our Alliance District designation, district-wide professional development, assessment writing, and has also worked to establish district-wide processes to support student learning and performance outcomes.                                

Dr. Daniels began her career as a science teacher in New Haven Public Schools. She later served as an administrator in three of Connecticut’s largest urban districts - New Haven, Hartford, and Danbury. Through established partnerships with family, community, and educators, she has led systemic changes across districts and schools to ensure that students graduate from high school postsecondary ready. Dr. Daniels is a proud Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) alumni where she was awarded her Bachelors of Science in Biology, Masters of Science in Science Education, Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership, Post-Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies, and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University, continues to present at national education conferences, and has several publications.

She is the proud parent of one son, Elijah, who attends Virginia State University. She enjoys reading, teaching, dancing, physical fitness, volunteering, and mentoring.\ Her favorite quote is “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education” by Martin Luther King JR. 

Dr. Daniels will begin in the new role July 1, 2023.
