Mu Alpha Theta is an international organization dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. The Math Honor Society meets twice a month to compete in contests and discuss challenging mathematical concepts. Membership is based upon mathematical scholarship, service, character, and citizenship. Students must be juniors and seniors who are currently enrolled in a math class and have taken at least two high school level math courses. Students must have a 3.3 overall GPA and a 3.7 within their mathematics courses. Dues are $10.
