Coping Skills in a Pandemic

Stratford High School's counseling program offers personalized services designed to respond to the developmental needs of all students. Our goal is to support Stratford High School's mission to provide a safe, academically rigorous, and culturally enriching environment that fosters intellectual, emotional, and ethical growth. The program facilitates student development in three major areas: Academic, Career and Personal/Social.

Through individual and group counseling, the high school counselor assists in post-high school planning: i.e., identification of talents and skills, selection of appropriate choices, processing of applications, writing of essays and recommendations, filing of financial aid forms, and providing scholarship information.

Our School Counselors respond to the individual needs of all Stratford High School students and the school counseling program has been formulated to meet their post-secondary goals.
